The LV Switchgear team in Burnfoot are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer. Job Purpose: A key member of the Switchgear Product Development team in design, development and validation of LV switchgear, ensuring compliance with IEC 61439 and other applicable standards Core Responsibilities: Knowledge of general Standards and design best practice - Mechanical Design: Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for switchgear panels, enclosures, frames, and busbar supports using CAD software – especially Solidworks - IEC 61439 Compliance: Ensure designs meet IEC 61439 requirements for design veri...
