Department/Unit: Laboratory Admininstration Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $77,075.00 - $119,466.00 The Quality Project Specialist assists in the management and coordination of the quality program for the Laboratory Service in concert with the Laboratory Directors, Supervisors and the Manager. The Quality Project Specialist has general knowledge of all laboratory areas, expertise and leadership in laboratory medicine and extensive knowledge of quality standards and regulatory guidelines. This position requires the exercise of independent judgement and responsibility. Other critical aspects include project management, data analysis and management, facilitation of the laboratory safety team and other process improvement teams (PIT), and QM education for staff. The Quality Project Specialist assists with the development and updating of the laboratory service-wide goals, objectives and accomplishments and prepares the departments for regulatory review.
