Job Summary Job Title: Specialized Critical Care (ICU, PCU, SICU) RN Location: Miami VA Healthcare System (including 7 Community-Based Outpatient Clinics) Period of Performance: 08/12/2025 – 08/11/2030 Shift Schedule: PRN; Twelve (12) hour shifts 7:30-8:00; day shift vs night shift Position Description: The Critical Care RN is responsible for delivering comprehensive, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a complex and dynamic environment. This position oversees patients in three ICU units comprising 36 beds that support medical, surgical, and cardiac critical care, as well as stepdown acuity levels. ICU RNs are essential in providing continuous electronic cardiac monitoring and advanced interventions to stabilize and manage patients with life-threatening conditions, including those requiring isolation.
