Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm Job Summary: The Peer Review Coordinator supports the physician peer review and on-going improvement initiatives of the peer review process. This role collaborates with the medical staff leaders to drive process improvement and ensures patient safety. Minimum Education: Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing, and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom. Bachelor's degree in lieu of nursing education may be considered. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Valid multi-state or Registered Nurse License, preferred. Work Experience: Minimum 6 months experience in peer review or clinical position within healthcare setting. Additionally, 3 years of experience in quality or risk management, preferred.
