Job description

Overview Prepares, assembles, serves, and delivers food, and performs sanitation activities in assigned areas: patient area for patient tray assembly and sanitation; patient tray delivery and menu collection; or the detail dining areas. May operate dishwasher or assists with washing/sterilizing dishes. Performs cleaning and sanitizing duties. Responsibilities: Patient Tray Assembly and Sanitation: - Plates food items and assembles patient meal trays. Assembles add-on sheet items and tube feeding items following proper procedures. - Prepares food items for all areas, following standardized recipes and production methods. Prepares patient nourishment's and write-ins as tallied following proper production procedures. - Ensures that area and equipment are maintained up to accepted standards and quality. - Loads and operates dish washing equipment. Takes dish machine temperatures daily. - Takes pot machine temperatures daily and pH level of sanitizer. - Performs assigned cleaning functions, ensuring that areas and equipment are maintained up to accepted standards of quality. - Operates floor washing machine - Maintains and properly stocks all necessary food and supply items. - Labels an...
