Memorial Community Hospital & Health System (MCH) is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Access Representative in a full-time status at our Specialty Clinic in Blair, Nebraska. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient patient registration and providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for performing patient registrations, verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality. What You’ll Do: - Shift Details: Full-time position, no weekends. - Operate a multi-line phone system including taking electronic phone notes, transferrin calls as requested and appointment scheduling. - Patient Registration including verifying and updating patient/guarantor demographic and insurance information. - Collect and update copies of Medicare, Medicaid, and all other insurance cards during registration. - Obtain signatures on consent to treat and HIPAA forms when necessary. - Colle...
