Production Shift Leader

Who are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced and proactive professional who takes ownership of the shift and leads by example on the shop floor. In this role, you coordinate, supervise, and actively participate in the production of semi-finished and finished products, while effectively managing and motivating all operators on shift. You continuously strive to optimize processes in a safe and efficient manner and take an active role in identifying and handling (customer) complaints, always with a focus on quality and improvement. What will you be doing?: - Coordinate, supervise and actively support production processes during your shift, ensuring safe operations, target achievement, on-time delivery and correct quality registration - Lead, coach and motivate operators, manage shift handovers, vacation planning, training actions, skills matrix and PE assessments to ensure continuity - Prepare and execute production activities, including work orders, raw materials, alloy calculations, melting processes and the production of billets, strip material and other semi-finished or special products - Create samples, monitor accurate stock and production data entry, and ensure com...
