Healthcare Assistant Eating Disorder Unit Fixed Term Department: Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time Location: Priory Hospital Bristol: Compensation: £26,886 / year: Description: Healthcare Assistant – Fixed Term (6–12 Months) Priory Hospital Bristol Full Time – 37.5 Hours per Week About Lotus Ward: Lotus Ward is a 10-bedded, mixed-gender specialist eating disorder unit offering a comprehensive and diverse therapy programme. The ward focuses on delivering personalised treatment, support, and therapy for individuals primarily diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa. Patients may also present with co-morbid mental or physical health conditions, including Autism, PTSD, or Personality Disorders. Lotus is a locked unit; however, patients may be granted leave on an individual basis by their Consultant, depending on their progress. What you'll be doing: As a Healthcare Assistant on Lotus Ward, you will provide day-to-day support to patients with eating disorders, assisting with meals, monitoring wellbeing, and promoting healthy routines.
