Overview POSITION TITLE (Oracle title): REGIONAL FACILITIES MANAGER WORKING TITLE: Regional Facilities Manager SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT: Maintenance and Operations/Regional Maintenance: LOCATION: Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh, NC: PAY GRADE: Noncertified Grade 29: FLSA STATUS: Nonexempt: ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT: No: WORK WEEK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends) Required to respond to after-hours emergency calls and inclement weather. POSITION PURPOSE: Supervises maintenance in assigned schools within Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) and provides internal operation support by managing specialized functions within maintenance, including independent leadership to identify, coordinate, and execute program changes to improve the maintenance function. Monitors operations to ensure daily compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and best practices for maintenance, safety, financial management, and general program operations. Works with various departments in maintenance to assess/adapt services to satisfy customer expectation that support building operations.
