Title: Consumer Loans Officer Location: Brandon, MB: Position Close Date: May 15, 2026 Lending Consumer and Mortgage Loans: - Interview loan and mortgage applicants, analyze financial information, assess credit and approve loans and mortgages within discretionary limits and/or make recommendations for approvals/declines to supervisor. - Determine conditions of loan, input information and print documents. - Verify search on collateral security, register appropriate documents as required. - For mortgage loans, initiate instruction letter and all security documents as applicable and forward information to credit solicitor for opinion. - Initiate action to advance funds or advance loans as required. Review loan file documentation, secure appropriate signatures and advance loan on completion of signing. - Conduct normal follow-up on delinquent accounts and maintain a systematic collection procedure for early identification of problem accounts and promptly initiate or recommend appropriate action to minimize risk. - Review the overdraft daily and instruct support staff to take action within credit union policy (ie., member calls, NSF, or follow up). - Complete and submit reports for exte...
