Job DetailsJob Location: Tamuning, GU 96931SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Accounting Assistant (AR) is responsible for ensuring the timely collection of revenue by processing customer deposits, following up on outstanding payments, and reconciling customer accounts to maintain accurate financial records. Deposit Processing: Prepares, verifies, and processes daily bank deposits, ensuring all customer payments (cash, checks, or electronic payments) are accurately recorded in the financial system. Payment Follow-up: Monitors aging reports and proactively contact customers via phone and email to follow up on overdue balances and ensure timely collections. Customer Reconciliation: Reconciles customer accounts by reviewing monthly statements and transaction history to resolve discrepancies, short payments, or unapplied payments. Vendor/Customer Liaison: Serves as a primary point of contact for customer billing inquiries, providing professional and timely resolution to account disputes.
