Hours: D Shift - Thursday - Sunday 8:00 pm to 8:00 am Starting pay $19.75/hr plus a $2.00 shift premium SUMMARY: The feather Process operator controls the cooking process from hydrolyzing the raw feathers to a finished product.. Operates straight or articulated rubber tired tractor type vehicle equipped with front mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage processing areas, to feed cookers, hoppers, or chutes. Drying the raw feathers. Sizing. Running the Machinery that processes the cooked feathers into make feather meal. Transferring of hydrolyzed feather meal to storage. Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader. Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material.
