Job description

The Division of Cardiovascular Sciences and the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, is seeking an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time position at the Instructor rank. Evaluation with diagnostic testing and history taking in the patient population with a suspected or confirmed cardiology diagnosis referred from Internal Medicine, Emergency physicians or other specialties. Communication with patients, family and referring provider regarding recommendations and findings based on current guidelines. Education regarding diagnosis, testing and results. Independently provides care to patients in cardiology clinic under general or indirect supervision. Manages medical problems; initiates, monitors and alters pharmacologic or lifestyle regimens. MINIMUM: Master's or Medical degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.
