Role Definition: Analyzes and develops transportation plans to control the movement of commodities throughout a manufacturing or distribution network to ensure the smooth running of operations at optimal transportation cost levels. What You Will Do: - Analyze transportation plans and identify opportunities for improvements to meet client needs. - Implement and maintain monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date. - Generate and analyze reports of transportation costs, carrier performance and lead times. - Assist in the development of process flows t...
