Job description

Assist with research related tasks for the Institute for the Advanced Study of Culture & the Environment. Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience. Higher education may substitute for the experience. - Assist in preparation of samples for analysis of plant microfossils for applications in geosciences, ecology, and anthropology. - Manage chemical inventory, waste, and junior personnel/volunteers working in the lab. - Preliminary analysis of microfossil samples after lab preparation. Primary work will be on contracts with Chronicle Heritage, Gamo Highlands NSF Project, and development of comparative pollen/phytolith digital collection.
