Job The Platform Engineer designs, builds, and maintains the Simpro platform infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. Operating with a 70% development and 30% platform focus, this role requires a strong software engineering background to build the tools and abstractions that power our systems. The Platform Engineer will automate testing, deployment, and configuration management processes; select appropriate hardware and software components; configure networking and storage resources; and create security policies. What You’ll Do: At Simpro, we build the software that powers the trades and field service industry across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the UK. Our platform team sits at the heart of that owning the cloud infrastructure, the internal developer platform, and the pipelines that get code from development into production safely and fast. We're looking for a Platform Engineer who's genuinely comfortable on both sides of the fence: someone who understands how applications work and knows AWS inside out.
