Become a part of our caring community The Clinical Manager Assistant performs multiple tasks in the office. The main role is to provide support for the Clinical Manager as well as performing other functions in the branch. The Clinical Manager Assistant will be the first line of contact for physician and patient calls, function as the inpatient coordinator, follow up on labs, durable medical equipment, and intake. Other duties include case conference prep, discharge/recert process, entering faxed orders, & quality/performance improvement data entry. This non-exempt position will report to the branch director. Clinical Manager Assistant Essential Functions: Clinical - Receive phone calls from physicians, facilities , staff, and patients/caregivers with appropriate follow up. - Entry of verbal orders into Home Care Home Base. - Ensure all referrals have the essential documents required. Follow up to obtain missing information to ensure a complete referral. - Monitors status of patients in the hospital to ensure adequate care coordination.
