Temporary Faculty Pool - Lecturer in Chinese, Hmong, Japanese, Linguistics Department Overview [ Department website ] The Linguistics department provides several options in the Linguistics major, including TESL/SLAT, and also handles a number of foreign language courses and general education courses, together with service courses for the Liberal Studies program. College Overview: The College of Arts and Humanities is home for students and faculty engaged in the widest range of artistic and humanistic pursuits in the San Joaquin Valley. As the heart of Fresno State, we study the artistic expression, communication skills, humanistic values, and cultural awareness that form the foundation of scholarship and creative activities. Position Summary [ Course Catalog link ] The successful applicant may teach Chinese, Hmong, Japanese, English 5A, English 5B, English 10 or Linguistics courses, as well as high enrollment general education courses. We are interested in candidates who are qualified to teach: Chinese, Hmong, Japanese, Linguistics.
