ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team supporting the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) at their Knolls Atomic Power Plant ! This position is full-time and will be based out of Schenectady, NY. Responsibilities: Develop and define project scope with sponsors. Work with a project team to develop specifications, cost estimates, drawing reviews, and provide engineering support during construction phase for buildings and utility projects. Oversee architectural engineering firms in developing concept designs, construction documents, and cost estimates. Coordinate and interact with facility staff and contractors. Requirements: Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience. Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work. Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
