MSS, a Crete United company, is seeking a hands-on Safety Manager to lead and strengthen our safety culture across commercial and industrial HVAC, mechanical, and construction operations in Louisiana. This role requires a visible field leader who can drive compliance, influence behavior, and partner with operations to reduce risk and improve jobsite performance. You will split your time between the field and office, balancing safety leadership, training, reporting, and program management. What You’ll Do: - Conduct field safety audits, inspections, and observations on active jobsites - Ensure compliance with OSHA, customer, and company safety standards - Develop project-specific Safety Plans and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) - Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and employee training sessions - Partner with foremen, supervisors, and project managers on risk mitigation - Investigate incidents, complete reports, and coordinate corrective actions - Support injury case management and return-to-work processes - Review confined space work, crane lifts, elevated work, and...
