Your Opportunity The role of a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is to work as a team member with project managers, intermediate and senior engineers as in project teams of all sizes. You should be able to develop engineering designs that achieve stated design objectives, follow criteria and guidelines, and address project-specific complexities. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include project coordination, modelling and design, calculations, technical writing, and field work. This entry-level position will suit an enthusiastic individual with ambitions to build a career in an industry-leading Water Engineering team. Your Key Responsibilities: - Perform conveyance engineering, stormwater management and site design which may include engineering models and drawings, hydraulic system calculations, pipe design calculations, quantity calculations and cost estimating. - Understand and follow established design guidelines and standards. - Work with designers and modellers, including working directly in modelling and design software at times, to develop design elements including conveyance alignments and profiles, site and stormwater management grading. - Review, interpret, sum...
