Housekeeper Full-Time Evening Shift Position Summary: At Stony Brook Medicine, our Housekeepers are responsible to perform a variety of custodial and housekeeping tasks such as: requisitioning linens and household supplies, the cleaning, care, and upkeep of assigned buildings or areas of large buildings, including patient rooms, administrative work areas, study areas, classrooms, meeting rooms, and laboratories. Qualified candidates should demonstrate excellent intrapersonal skills and time management skills. They should have attention to detail and be able to work with all levels of the organization. Duties of a Housekeeper may include the following but are not limited to: Requisitions and dispenses linens, household supplies, and equipment, maintains appropriate inventories. Reports need for building repairs and recommends to superior the repair and replacement of furniture, building fixtures, and household equipment. Provides continual training on cleanliness, communication, and customer service skills.
