Intertek, a global leader in ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, is actively looking for experienced Freelance OCTG Inspectors to join our network of freelancers and support multiple ongoing projects across Norway. Job Summary: The OCTG Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) including casing, tubing, and drill pipe, to ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., API, ISO) and customer specifications. This role involves visual inspections, dimensional checks, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), and documentation of inspection results to ensure quality and integrity of tubular products used in the oil and gas industry. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct visual, dimensional, and NDT inspections on OCTG materials (casing, tubing, drill pipe). - Verify compliance with API, ISO, DS-1, and customer-specific requirements. - Operate inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, ultrasonic testing units, EMI equipment, and thread gauges. - Interpret and analyze test results and inspection data. - Document inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain traceable records. - Tag and segreg...
