Job Category: Allied Health Work Shift/Schedule: 10 Hr Morning - Afternoon Northeast Georgia Health System is rooted in a foundation of improving the health of our communities. About the Role: Job Summary Under the supervision of a credentialed Physician, assists in Cardiac Cath procedures while maintaining a sterile field. Performs various procedures that require independent judgment, high level of skill proficiency and extensive knowledge of the anatomey and physiology of the heart. Assists with care of critically ill patients. The scope of care includes age group adolescent thru geriatric. Cath Lab department only. Minimum Job Qualifications: Licensure or other certifications: Registered Cardio Interventional Specialist (RCIS), Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) required. In lieu of registry, Paramedic license or a License as a Practical Nurse will be accepted. Current BLS and ACLS certification required. Educational Requirements: Other.
