We are working closely with Birmingham Children's Trust to assist with the appointment of a Family Support Worker , on a 1.5-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £15.34- £19.96 per hour Summary: The Family Support Worker – Grade 4 plays a vital role in supporting children, young people, and families to achieve positive outcomes and improve wellbeing. Working within a busy Family Help Team, the post holder will undertake assessments, provide direct interventions, and work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard and support vulnerable children and families. The role includes completing assessments under Section 17 of the Children Act 1989, delivering targeted support plans, promoting early intervention, and helping families build resilience and independence.
