Position Title: Assistant General Counsel — Investments Bessemer Trust is seeking an attorney with asset management experience to join the firm’s Legal Department. The Assistant General Counsel will be supporting an investment platform which consists of registered and private fund vehicles and separately managed accounts for a privately-held wealth management firm. This position is ideal for a motivated attorney who excels in a collaborative, client-centric environment and who has general corporate experience. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of matters involving the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, the Securities Act of 1933, Securities Exchange Act of 1934, Regulation D, and FINRA Rules. The Assistant General Counsel will also support the firm’s corporate real estate and lease-related initiatives. Qualifications: The base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $265,000 per year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role.
