About the role: Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technician supports the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of battery energy storage systems. You have an electrical or electro‑mechanical background working with high-voltage systems in the renewables industry. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Perform installation, commissioning, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of BESS equipment, including batteries, inverters, transformers, EMS, and balance-of-system components - Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and control system issues using schematics, drawings, and technical documentation - Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance following OEM manuals and site procedures - Monitor system performance and respond to alarms, faults, and outages - Safely work with high-voltage DC and AC systems while following all OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety standards - Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and incident documentation accurately - Support system upgrades, retrofits, and warranty work - Coordinate with engineering, operations, and third-party vendors during site activities - Travel to project sites and participate in on-call or e...
