Job description

Position Summary The Instructional Design & Educational Technology Specialist provides support for faculty with the integration of technology into teaching and learning and identifies appropriate tools to support instruction. Provides consultation in pedagogy, instructional design, and course development related to courses, modules, and whole curriculum activities for traditional, online, and hybrid course projects. Working collaboratively with campus partners, the Specialist advances digital and AI literacy, excellence in teaching with supported technology tools, and evidence-informed instructional technology practice within a diverse academic community. Supervision: This position reports to the Director of Instructional Design & Educational Technology and may supervise student employees. Key Responsibilities: - Consult with faculty to share best practices and introduce methods where learning technology can assist in achieving learning outcomes through active learning, inclusive teaching practices, classroom management, and assessment of student learning.
