Description Greater Nashua Mental Health is looking for a full-time Peer Support Specialist to join our FEP (First Episode Psychosis) team! The Peer Support Specialist develops meaningful and trusting relationships with clients, acts as a mentor, and gives consumers the support they need to better advocate for themselves, based on their personal experiences. Provides clients an example of what they can strive for in their recovery. Duties & Responsibilities: - Supports client engagement and continued connection throughout treatment, including outreach and re-engagement with individuals who have disengaged from services. - Develops strong therapeutic relationships with clients and their families, working collaboratively with HOPE/FEP team members to support recovery goals. - Participates in meetings with new referrals to help explain program structure, expectations, and the role of peer support. - Provides community- and home-based support, including accompaniment to school, employment, and wellness-related activities as part of shared decision-making and recovery planning. - Co-facilitates peer-led and recovery-focused groups and activities (e.g., IPS, SRAP, WHAM, among others) tha...
