As a Compliance Engineer - Product Homologation, a typical day might include the following: Maintain records of global product compliance and associated technical requirements. Track changes to regulatory requirements and determine impacts to SEL. Evaluate and research homologation requirements for markets and technologies. Sustain existing product homologation and certifications. Provide technical assistance as a content expert in worldwide product compliance. Guide engineering staff in translating product compliance requirements into a product’s design. Support Customer Service as it relates to product compliance. Teach and advise management on product compliance issues. This job might be for you if you have: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience 4+ years working knowledge in product compliance and homologation practices for industrial, medical, or commercial products Knowledge of at least one of the following product homologation requirements: - EMC (FCC, IC, CE, EAC, RCM) - Safety standards (NRTL, CSA, NOM, EAC, RCM, CE) - Product Ecology (RoHS, REACH, WEEE, Packaging) - Wireless (Wi-Fi, Cellular, 900 MHz, GNSS) Self-motivated/self-star...
