Job description

Responsible for assisting on IT projects. This position will effectively collaborate and contribute to a cross-functional team with software engineers, data managers, network & system administrators, and other technical staff. Plans, develops, and implements administrative or technical solutions to increase security and defend against hacking, malware and ransomware, insider threats, and other types of malicious activity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Provide information and systems security support to the organization under minimal supervision. 2.Maintain systems to protect data from unauthorized users and monitors compliance with the organization's information security policies and procedures. 3.Perform daily monitoring activities, including analysis of logs and reports from firewalls and other boundary protection devices to identify and investigate anomalous log entries which impact the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of information systems. 4.Identify vulnerabilities that are applicable to systems and applications to assess their severity and urgency. 5.Work with system administrators and network administrators to track corrective action, resolution progress,...
