The Position Genentech, Inc. seeks a Senior Principal Product Manager at its South San Francisco, CA location. Duties: Description: Within global pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics company, refine the strategy and product vision for a product family in the Therapeutics Discovery Domain to enable the highest priority scientific outcomes. This includes developing the product roadmap, stakeholder management, conducting market research, and devising a go-to-market strategy. Product family owner that drives execution of their area to ensure maximum impact. This includes eliciting requirements, backlog prioritization, and budget. Advocate for future-facing solutions, anticipating emerging capabilities and integrating these in their roadmaps. Identify key trends, technologies, methodologies and take an Open Source first, Cloud first, API first and AI first approach. Contribute to consolidation and deprecation of legacy systems and overall reduction of accumulated technical debt. Establish and cultivate strong internal and external partnerships and relationships with extended collaborators in DDC, CS CoE and beyond.
