Overview: Supports and assists the Program Coordinator in the operations, supervision and management of the Day Treatment program. Provides a safe and effective learning environment for children in accordance with the philosophy and mission of Behaven Kids. Essential Duties: Assists Program Coordinator in supervising the implementation of the Behaven Kids model of care. Assists Program Coordinator in supervising and monitoring direct care staff, service delivery, and program activities to ensure quality and consistency. Assists Program Coordinator in identifying, monitoring, and implementing treatment goals and objectives. Carries out duties of Program Coordinator in his/her absence. Prepares, updates and maintains documentation and children’s records. Provides orientation, training and development opportunities for staff. Provides a safe, structured learning environment. Interacts with children in a professional, positive manner. Communicates effectively with parents, peers, and supervisor.
