Job description

Position Function: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) reports to the Executive Director of the Mississippi Institute on Disabilities and their licensed supervisor. They will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with Autism, related developmental disorders, and behavioral disorders (e.g., impulse regulation issues, social navigation issues) in a school-based or clinical-based setting. The Registered Behavioral Technician will directly implement behavioral protocols, conduct behavioral skills training, collect data on programs, model program implementation for parents and school staff, and assist the Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with clinical assessments as needed.
