Description Pay Rate: $21.30: Hours: Evenings and Weekends: The Activities and Recreation Center’s Intramural Staff play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the ARC Intramural Activities Program. They are front line in making intramural programs fair, fun, and safe. Individuals participate in officiating a variety of sports, leading captain's meetings, program promotions, and peer-to-peer evaluations. The main duty for Intramural Staff is to enforce all competitive sports policies, and sport specific rules. Officials will use their sport knowledge/rule understanding to enforce rules, encourage fair play and good sportspersonship, and ensure the safety of all participants. Being an Intramural Student Staff member is a time commitment of a full academic year with an average of 8-15 hours per week. That time is used to assist in the planning and administration of the Intramural Activities Program, supervise intramural events, officiate games, and have regularly scheduled staff meetings.
