Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatry Summary/Objective: The Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is a member of the Adult Medicine Department within Health Services. This clinical position supports Dimock’s mission to heal and uplift individuals, families, and communities by providing equitable access to comprehensive health care and education. This role provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up treatment for a full range of psychiatric and substance use disorders. Services are delivered to individuals in OBAT, inpatient, and residential programs, supporting integrated and continuous care across the continuum. Essential Functions: - Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and biopsychosocial assessments, including co-occurring mental health disorders - Provide daily inpatient consultation for evaluation and treatment of patients with co-occurring mental illness in ATS and CSS settings - Diagnose psychiatric conditions in accordance with DSM-5-TR criteria - Provide medication management, including FDA-approved medications for addiction treatment (MAT/MOUD such as buprenorphine and naltrexone) - Manage acute psychiatric symptoms during withdrawal manage...
