Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. We are also developing different types of propulsion systems to power our future vehicles and missions. As a talented Turbopump AIT Engineer , you will be responsible for supporting the development of our turbopumps for the Storm and Typhoon engines. Key Responsibilities / Tasks: In your capacity as a Turbopump AIT Engineer , your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include: Define and implement subcomponent test strategies to ensure the appropriate level of technical maturity and readiness prior to turbopump and engine-level testing. Design, develop, and validate test assemblies and dedicated tooling required to execute subcomponent and component-level tests effectively and safely. Prepare and execute assembly procedures for turbopump test articles and flight hardware, including inspection plans, propellant compatibility verification, cleanliness, FOD control requirements and design of specific means.
