POSITION SPECIFICS: Title: Radiological Technologist: FTE: Per Diem: Schedule: Variable: Holiday Rotation: None: Weekend Rotation: None: On Call Requirements: None: POSITION SUMMARY: Performs radiology procedures, including CT scans and/or mammography, at a technical level that does not require constant supervision but does require good judgment and professional expertise. Operates ionizing radiation equipment using ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed protocols related to radiology technology for the diagnosis of various diseases and injury. Assumes responsibility for coordinating procedures, quality assurance and record keeping as related to departmental policy, radiation safety and attending to the patient's needs Procedures will be performed in hospital and operating room settings. POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive, position, and attend to patients. Abstract pertinent data from patient, family and/or patient record.
