Department: 02190 AMG Sturgeon Bay - Immediate Care Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 32 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Two - 10-hour shifts + One - 4-hour shift per week between Monday - Friday - 7am - 7pm. Every other weekend, 8am - 4pm. Pay Range: $21.85 - $36.15 Major Responsibilities: - Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and documenting/updating pertinent health information (i.e. chief complaint, allergies, medications). - Performs laboratory procedures (i.e. strep test, wound culture, specimen collection, etc.) using principles of aseptic technique and standard precautions / infection control guidelines. - Assists the physician/provider with procedures and surgeries such as pelvic exams, allergy scratch testing, EMG, cautery, colposcopy, etc. - Administers medications, under physician/provider orders, including: immunizations, antibiotics, pain medications, vitamins, topical agents, and insulin.
