FACULTY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: DEPARTMENT OF WRITING, LANGUAGES, AND LITERATURES: Part-Time Lecturer Pool Position: POSITION AVAILABLE : One or more temporary, part-time lecturers for a pool from which instructors will be considered for appointments as they become available for Fall Semester 2026, and/or Spring Semester 2027. THE DEPARTMENT : The Department of Writing, Languages, and Literatures consists of 15 tenured and tenure-track faculty and 19 part-time lecturers and offers the B.A. in English. Serving some 178 undergraduates, the English major consists of a core curriculum and options in British and American Literature, English Language and Literacies, and Creative Writing. A major responsibility of the Department of English is the teaching of writing. We offer all levels of composition, including developmental, freshman, advanced, and online writing courses. DUTIES OF THE POSITION : Lecturers are needed to teach stretch college writing (ENGL 100, 101, 103, 104); college writing (ENGL 102, 200), and other writing courses.
