An open, fully funded position for a Program Manager is available in the Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer's & Neurodegenerative Diseases at the University of Texas Health San Antonio (UTHSA) ( https://biggsinstitute.org/ ). We are looking for an exceptional candidate with expertise in grant research program management to join a collaborative team of clinicians, epidemiologists, and statisticians conducting state-of-the art research on dementia. The position provides opportunities to work with Investigators conducting research on dementia as part of the NIA-funded South Texas Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (STAC). The Program Manager will be responsible for managing two international consortiums- the Neurology working group of the Cross-Cohort collaboration consortium (CCC) and the NeuroCHARGE consortium, under the guidance of Drs. Seshadri, Satizabal, and Goss. They work with some of the world’s largest cohorts, including the famous Framingham Heart Study as well as local population studies in South Texas such as the 40-year-old San Antonio Heart Study.
