Why you should join: Core responsibility of the Incoming Quality Engineer is to ensure Quality on purchase components, supporting Manufacturing plants, by implementing a robust containment action in the entire supply chain and start escalation if applicable, using his / her knowledge on problem solving methodologies and technical expertise on the specific materials categories (Electronics & Mechatronics, Stamping, Injection Molding) working in close collaboration with suppliers and TE plant quality teammates. Your main tasks: - Development and improvement of component inspection methods - Analysis of component defects - Support for quality controllers in solving ongoing quality issues - Management of non-conforming material, including blocking, initiating corrective (including sorting), corrective, and preventive actions - Creation/maintenance of control and inspection plans, including in the ERP system - Participation in testing and implementation of new products (NPI, PPAP) - Communication with suppliers and relevant organizat...
