Job Description​ The Graduate Medical Education Program Coordinator is a member of the Graduate Medical Education (GME) team. The primary role is to provide oversight to ensure the success of the academic program(s) by utilizing and applying the standards of accreditation agencies. The academic functions include recruitment, orientation, establishing and maintaining academic files, rotation schedules, evaluation assignments, didactic sessions, graduation, and proctoring national exams and inspections. The work requires the use of multiple electronic systems. The individual will perform tasks with indirect supervision utilizing independent judgment within the scope of responsibilities. Two or more years of experience in healthcare setting and/or medical education required. Perform functions in the academic program, such as assigning and tracking evaluations and providing and maintaining trainee services including orientation, graduation, pagers, meal cards, schedules, in-service examinations, training verifications, and applications.
