About the role We are seeking mechanically minded individuals to perform a variety of operational functions for the production of Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF). The role will operate under the site EA on a 12-hour rotating 24/6 roster. This is a full-time position working on a 24/6-day, 12-hr rotating shift roster; - 4-week Rotating Shift Roster Cycle - 2 weekends off in every 4 - Shift Allowance Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Set, adjust and perform production runs on both sanding and cut to size equipment ensuring quality is always met; - Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and report or resolve problems; - Observe gauges, meters and control panels to obtain information about equipment temperatures and pressures, or the speed of feeders or conveyors; - Read work orders and communicate with co-workers to determine machine and equipment settings and adjustments and supply and product specifications; - Maintain production records such as quantities, dimensions and thickness of materials processed; - Examine and measure completed materials or products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring devices such as tape measures, gauges or call...
