Procurement Coordinator Department: Distribution Center Operations: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Farmers Branch, TX: Reporting To: Zach Vickers: Description: The Procurement Coordinator composes, organizes and places orders with overseas vendors along with maintaining a focus on inventory performance and planning. Additionally coordinate international logistics operations between overseas vendors and System Component SY. Work Environment: - Works primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential Physical Demands: - Ability to be punctual and attend work on a regular and consistent basis - Occasionally will be expected to lift large materials not to exceed 40 pounds How will you help: - Review and organize planned purchase orders on a weekly basis to generate lists of material that need to be ordered - Organize orders by vendor and optimal utilization of available container space - Optimize orders with the vendor’s production schedule and expediate material within the production schedule as needed. - Review order quantities to ensure accuracy and contributing data is of sound standing. - Coordinate defective claims with overseas vendo...
