Manufacturing Production Planner & Planning Specialist

Job Description Summary During a time of exciting growth here at Dowty (a GE Aerospace company) we have a new opportunity of an 18 month fixed term contract, to join our onsite manufacturing team in Brockworth, near Gloucester, as a manufacturing planning specialist. As a planner in our team, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity of product data within our business planning system, overseeing embodiment of engineering changes, acting as a focal point for New Product Introduction (NPI) activities at Dowty and support the Master Production Schedule (MPS). You will manage the set-up of item masters, BOM configuration and have an in-depth understanding of item master planning parameters, engineering change processes, and the aerospace industry. You will be a crucial part of our planning process and be detail-orientated and have extensive experience with business planning systems (e.g. Syteline and Oracle ERP systems).
