POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Director leads a cross-functional team, executing the SOC Director’s directives and managing SOC personnel across Clients’ three SOCs. The Assistant Director acts as the primary liaison between the Director and SOC Supervisors, ensuring smooth communication and strong relationships with asset teams and vendors. The Assistant Director makes command decisions in the Director’s absence, oversees daily operations, plans major events and handles information flow between SOCs and senior management. The Assistant Director must have expertise in developing intelligence-driven support products, assessing risks, and analyzing data. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and effective communication are essential, as is the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and provide constructive feedback. The Assistant Director also oversees access control systems, ensuring effective badging processes and high security standards, and must be available on-call for urgent issues, fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance.
