Job description

THE ROLE: The Server position is generally responsible to provide efficient, friendly and genuine guest service while performing food and drink serving duties in the restaurant and in banquets. ACTIVITIES: The duties and responsibilities for the Server include, but are not limited to the following: - Greet and interact with all guests in a courteous manner and maintain visibility in your section during functions. - Organize and set tables, stations, buffets and carts for service according to the company standards and function specific requirements (includes: clean linen, china, silver and glassware, etc.). - Greet all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner - Communicate special requests or additional meal requirements to the supervisor / kitchen. - Use proper serving techniques during food service execution and ensure courses are properly cleared in a timely manner. - Clear and clean tables in a prompt and efficient manner. - Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in the function room and service area. - Ensure storage and service area/wait station is clean and maintained throughout shift. - Perform side-work, opening and closing dut...
