Description SUMMARY: Assists with the daily activities of the Headstart classroom. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Before school, assists in collecting and setting up equipment, toys and supplies to support the day’s activities. · Assists with the morning greeting of parents and children and follow-through on daily health check. · Follow the posted daily schedule to maintain the flow of activities throughout the day. Assists with scheduled activities. · Assists in maintaining a safe, healthy environment for young children. · Guides children in the selection of activities to provide the child centered small learning and/or individual learning. · Prepares lunch and breakfast or snack as needed. Cleans up after eating times as needed. Leave Kitchen clean and ready for the next days as needed. · Assists with cleaning and sanitizing toys and classroom equipment at the end of the day. · Maintains strict confidentiality of the department and clientele.
