The Opportunity: Avantor is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our service team in Portugal. The responsibilities of this role include providing technical support to our customers in the research, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. This is a full-time, mobile position covering the North of Portugal. Activities Preparation and installation of equipment: electrical connections, piping connections, software configuration. Maintenance and qualification of equipment. Repair of breakdowns. Telephone support to customers. Customer training. Administrative management of the technical support performed Stock control and exchanges. Placing material orders. Prefer cool certificate: Responsibilities: Ensure an adequate and timely response to the customer. Maintain daily contact with different stakeholders. Ensure daily contact with the client’s designated responsible persons. Ensure the correct development of technical support from installation through periodic maintenance.
